Marketing

Please peruse a small sample of the many projects I have worked on over the years, from conception to completion as a combination editor, graphic designer, writer, and photographer, depending on the needs of my employer or client.

From 2014-2018, I produced the Hampton Beach Visitor’s Guide for the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce, a 64 page digest sized tourist publication printed on full color glossy paper. This included dealing with all advertising, editorial, layout, and photographic aspects of the publication. The first year required a total redesign of the entire publication, and in following years, it was refined as the client was happy with the initial results – especially the photoshopped image of the Sea Shell Stage with the fireworks behind it, which they insisted on using every year.

From 2013-2018, I produced the Hampton Beach Calendar of Events for the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce, a 48 page magazine sized tourist publication printed in full color on newsprint. This included dealing with all advertising, editorial, layout, and photographic aspects of the publication. The first year required a total redesign of the entire publication, and in following years, it was refined as the client was happy with the initial results.

From rack cards to maps, to trifold brochures, I know how to compress a client’s message into a compact format they will remember, whether it is part of a handout, on a rack, or mailed to them.

From business card ads to full page spreads, there is little I have not done to produce some of the most eye-catching advertisements following either a few instructions, or under the client’s exacting directions – the bottom line is, the job gets done on time and on budget!

The largest professional print project I have worked on was the 300+ page TOTAL Catalog of accessory parts that took months of editing, layout, and product checking before it was ready to go to press.
But then every summer, I would edit, report, write and lay out over 900+ pages during the 16-issue summer run of the Beach News.
Today, our coil bound personal Hirtle Annual photo albums often hit 600+ pages in two volumes each year!
